Fenerbahçe HDI Sigorta Men’s Volleyball Team hosted Arkas Spor in the first match of AXA Sigorta Efeler League Play-off Stage 3-4. Our team won the match played at the Burhan Felek Vestel Volleyball Hall 3-0 after sets of 25-22, 25-18 and 25-15 and took the lead 1-0 in the series.
The second match of the series will be played on Monday, May 2, at 15.00, at Atatürk-Sigorta Shop Sports Complex. In the series, which will be played over 3 matches, Fenerbahçe will complete the league in third place if they win this match as well.

We started off well with Metin Toy and Emre Batur, and Arkas Spor took the lead by 5-6, catching a rhythm with Mirza Lagumdzija and Bertuğ Öndeş. Following a series of 4-0 with Hidalgo and Emre Batur, Fenerbahçe increased the gap to 5 points (15-10). Although this score gave the İzmir representative a timeout, our Men’s Volleyball Team continued its productive game after the break; He was leading 21-14 in the last episode of the set. Carrying the score superiority to the end of the set, Fenerbahçe took a 2-0 lead in the sets (25-18).
