Our Deputy Chairman Erol Bilecik: We witnessed once again this evening the ‘referee assignment engineering’ that has been systematically carried out since the beginning of the season.

Our Deputy Chairman and Club Spokesman, Erol Bilecik, made a statement to the press after the match, in which we played with 10 players from the 17th minute and drew 1-1 with Trabzonspor.

Once again, an evening that we can call a ‘stain’ in Turkish football has passed.‘ Our Deputy Chairman Erol Bilecik underlined that the ‘referee assignment engineering’ that has been systematically carried out since the beginning of the season has been witnessed once again this evening.

The statements of our Deputy Chairman and Club Spokesperson, Erol Bilecik, are as follows:

We witnessed together that we had an interesting evening. But I have two thanks; I sincerely thank our football players, our technical staff, and our team, who put forth their great sweat, for 82 minutes, one of which was 10 people remaining as of the 17th minute, but who literally took the game 82 minutes with their heroism. Another thank you is to our fans, our fans, who are undoubtedly the most important driving force of Fenerbahçe! Every time they stepped in, we watched together how the team performed in a completely different atmosphere. Again, I owe them my thanks. Let them be, let them be.

But tonight I want to come to the main picture: As you can see tonight, an evening in Turkish football that we can call a ‘stain’ has passed. In other words, we have witnessed once again this evening the ‘referee assignment engineering’ that has been done systematically since the beginning of the season. We almost predicted what happened this evening from our own social media accounts on Saturday afternoon, in the statements we made as Fenerbahçe Sports Club, or the management style made by the referee tonight, in a sense, was a confirmation of this. In other words, I really underline the ‘referee assignment engineering’ and the relevant institution and those who help it; Those who helped, finally added another link to the chain of injustices that we, as Fenerbahçe, suffered, and how difficult these evenings and Turkish football are.

In other words, Trabzon did not need such support anyway. But I especially underline these systematic injustices against Fenerbahce, the systematic injustice of referees, and this evening we have seen a new one. I am explaining these to all the attendees, both to our community and to all sports fans, that we have all the information flow in the next week; the injustice done to these referee assignment engineering and all their preliminary information in this sense, etc. We will share it clearly with you in the next week. In the statement we made on Saturday, this must come to an end now. Ultimately, I sincerely hope that such nights, or more precisely, such incidents, do not occur in Turkish football and that our Fenerbahce continues its journey in the proper way it deserves.

Our Deputy Chairman Erol Bilecik answered the question whether there was any meeting with the TFF President Nihat Özdemir and the Deputy Chairman, who followed the match in the protocol tribune, as follows:

By giving all the reaction of the audience to these, we gave all the necessary answer and issue with the social media statements we made at halftime. I don’t need to take questions today. Everything is already obvious. The injustices are obvious, the referee assignment engineering and I emphasize again, the helpers are obvious. We will make all the detailed explanations underline again during the week.
