Fighting in the ongoing U22 Men’s and Women’s European Boxing Championship in Croatia/Porec, our Fenerbahce national boxers Mehmet Aydemir and Yusuf Özdemir defeated their opponents and advanced to the quarter finals.
Our national boxer Mehmet Aydemir, who came to the ring in the championship in 67 kg, beat his Armenian rival Harutyun Hakobkokhyan; Another athlete, 75 kg Yusuf Özdemir, who went to the ring in the evening session, defeated his Swedish rival Alsafadi Majd with a score of 5-0 and reached the quarter finals of the European Championship.
U22 Men’s and Women’s European Boxing Championships will continue with the competitions to be held tomorrow.
