With the dismissal of the Russian teams by CEV, our Fenerbahçe Opet Women’s Volleyball Team, which was deemed to have won the quarter-final matches against Lokomotiv Kaliningrad Region by forfeit “3-0, 3-0” and made its name directly into the semi-finals, was another Turkish representative, VakıfBank, in the semi-finals.
Despite losing 3-2 in the first match against Poland’s Developres Rzeszow team in the quarter-finals, our opponent VakıfBank became the opponent of the Yellow Angels in the semi-finals by beating their opponent 3-1 in the rematch.
