Fenerbahce national boxer Hatice Akbaş won the gold medal at the U22 European Boxing Championship.
Fenerbahce boxer Hatice Akbaş, who entered the ring at the U22 European Boxing Championship held in Croatia, faced her Croatian rival Nikolina Cacic in the 52 kg final. Hatice Akbaş gave her opponent a hard time in the first round and became the U22 European Champion with a knockout after the first round.
