Fenerbahçe Beko Men’s Basketball Team hosted Bayern Munich in the 26th week (postponement) match of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague 2021-22 season. Our team won the match 81-76 and got its 10th victory.
Our Board Members Sertaç Komsuoğlu and Selahattin Baki and our football players Mert Hakan Yandaş and Bright Osayi-Samuel also watched the match played at Ülker Sports and Event Hall.
All of us in spades; Melih Mahmutoğlu, Pierria Henry, Dyshawn Pierre, Devin Booker, Jan Vesely started with five.
Fenerbahce Beko, who started the fight well in offense, increased the gap to 13 points and finished the first period ahead 27-16. A time-out came from coach Djordjevic as the lead dropped to 9 points in the balanced second period: 33-24. Opening the lead again after the time-out, our team went to the locker room with a 45-31 lead. Marko Guduric was injured in the last part of this period and could not continue the game.
Fenerbahce Beko, who could not make the start of the second half, finished the third period behind 54-62. Starting the fourth period with a 10-0 series, our Team brought the score to 64-62. Fenerbahçe won the match with a score of 81-76, the last part of which was the scene of great contention.
Fenerbahçe Beko will face Panathinaikos on Friday, April 8 at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall.
