Fenerbahçe Safiport Women’s Basketball Team hosted Nesibe Aydın in the 24th week of Herbalife Nutrition Women’s Basketball Super League. Beating its opponent with a score of 70-53, our Team achieved its 21st victory in the league with this result and preserved its place at the top.
M. Kemal Danabas, Member of the Executive Board responsible for Women’s Basketball, also watched the match played at Ülker Sports and Event Hall.
Leading the first quarter, which was barren in terms of score, 13-9, our team carried the lead to double digits with Alina in the second quarter. (28-18) Maintaining the lead and leading 35-26 to the locker room, our Team brought the score to 44-38 in the third quarter with Kayla McBride, Elizabeth Williams and Olcay. Fenerbahçe Safiport was ahead 52-45 in the final period, and won the match 70-53.
Fenerbahçe Safiport will face USK Prague in the first match of the EuroLague Women’s Final Four, which will be played at Ülker Sports and Event Hall between 8-10 April, hosted by our Club.
