5 swimmers from Fenerbahçe qualified for the Balkan Youth Swimming Championship with the success they achieved in the 3rd International Edirne Cup and the Young Open Age Long Course National Team selection races. In addition to our 5 swimmers, there is a possibility that 2-3 athletes will be added to the roster as a result of the evaluation of the Swimming Federation technical committee.
International 3rd Edirne Cup and Young Open Age Long Course National team selection races were held in Edirne between 3-6 March. İlker Dinçay, Member of the Board of Directors responsible for our Swimming Branch, and Fikret Çetinkaya, our Amateur Branch Coordinator, also watched the races on site.
Our swimmers Gökdeniz Saraçlı, Ekin Nazlı Okudur, Ela Naz Özdemir, Nilsu Demiran and Nil Helvacıoğlu qualified for the Balkan Junior Swimming Championship after their successful results.
After the national team selection competition to be held in April, European Championship, Mediterranean Games and Islamic and Solidarity Games national teams will be determined.
